Acoustic Show Last Night

Thanks to everyone who came out to watch us perform last night. We had a great time and we know you all did too! We even sneaked in a song nobody was expecting us too. Thanks to the girl who drew this awesome thank you note for us!

Back to Recording!

After a great show at the Baldwin-Wallace Arts House Concert, we are gearing up to start recording again! I can’t tell you too much about the songs yet to be recorded, but I can tell you the song titles to the first few:

Cope
To The Earth
Sea Goddess
Your Words are My Fears

I don’t wanna ruin the surprise for the rest of the songs by telling you all the titles, but there will be 2-3 more if all goes according to plan. There is also a name for the new EP and rest assured it will not be shrouded in secrecy for too much longer.

Are you following us on twitter yet? We will be tweeting the whole process as it happens! Our Twitter Page

Oh one more thing. Have you heard our acoustic set or our first EP Nebulous? You can download them both FOR FREE at our bandcamp page. That’s right, completely free of any charge! All we ask is that you share it with all your friends and spread the word!

Recording Day 2

Yesterday was very long, but very productive. We got tracking done for drums, some bass, piano and some guitar. Today is more of the same. Video posts tomorrow.

Recording Day 1

So far, not much to report. Most of the day was spent rearranging rooms and setting up to record drums. Some techinical difficulties, but we should be all set to start tracking the drums tomorrow.

Sunday: Practice

We are hard at work, writing new material and practicing the stuff we have already written. A couple new things in the mix today, a song called “Mannequin American” and another called “A.D.H.D.L.O.L.” I’m afraid that’s all I can say about them for now, but here’s some pictures:

New Website…

You may or may not have noticed, but we have a new website again! I was kind of tired of the old one, and this one is much nicer on the eyes.

Band News: We are practicing and lining up gigs for after December. Writing is our main focus right now, but we are all fairly busy doing our own stuff as well. Not to worry, we still are keeping at it. To keep you all entertained, here is a silly picture of Dane sleeping. He does this frequently between rehearsals.

P.S. I am not creepy for taking this picture.

Much Love,
Ben

It Feels So Good….

…To be back after that long summer break. Yes ladies and gentleman Red Beard is back from our summer hiatus. With hard earned cash in hand we have migrated back to Cleveland, ready to get right back to where we left off. First up is the Baldwin-Wallace Battle of the Bands on the 13th of September. We are pretty excited to play at our alma mater. Tickets are $5 and all the proceeds go to charity…

We’ve had 2 rehearsals so far, and I am pretty excited. The new material Matt has written will make you want to dance like crazy. Equipment wise, Dane got his kit rewrapped with red, white and black stripes and it looks brilliant. I bought a new bass, a hot rod red Fender Jaguar. It sounds balls to the wall all the time.

If you want a awesome logo I cooked up based off the Moog we play at concerts:

If you aren’t a fan on our facebook page, check it here:

Much Love,

Ben
